Cybersecurity is one of RNIDS’s key areas of focus. Every October, RNIDS participates in organizing events, campaigns, and various initiatives to mark European Cybersecurity Month. For several years, in collaboration with the National CERT of the Republic of Serbia (RATEL), RNIDS has organized the National Cyber Conference, designed for professionals in the field as well as other IT experts who keep up with the latest trends and regulations in information security.

RSNOG is the annual conference of the Serbian Network Operators’ Group (RSNOG), an informal community of local network professionals united by a shared interest in improving the quality, performance, stability, and security of internet networks and services in Serbia. RNIDS played a role in founding the RSNOG community and provides organizational and financial support for the conference.

Every year on January 27, RNIDS celebrates the anniversary of the .срб domain. The event brings together an audience interested in multilingualism on the internet, internationalized domain names, and the use of the Cyrillic script online. But for each .срб domain birthday, RNIDS gives more than knowledge and insights — it also presents newly designed Serbian Cyrillic fonts optimized for on-screen display.

The Business Club is an event co-organized by RNIDS and the Niš Advanced Technology Cluster (NiCAT), held once or twice a year. The event brings together IT companies that are cluster members, as well as the local business, academic, and scientific community. Discussions focus on topics important for business, such as market trends and opportunities, regulations, cybersecurity, experiences of operating in different markets, and more.
