Information Security Policy
In line with the best global practices, RNIDS operates in accordance with ISO/IEC 27001 and all relevant legal regulations in the field of information security.
The implementation of this policy and its rules is important for maintaining the integrity and stability of the RNIDS information system to ensure uninterrupted service provision to system users. The security and protection policy ensures and guarantees:
- Establishment of control mechanisms for protecting information and information systems from theft, misuse and/or other forms of malicious activity;
- Establishment of the necessary organizational structure;
- The required level of knowledge and understanding of the obligations and responsibilities of persons responsible for managing the RNIDS ICT system;
- The required level of knowledge and understanding of information security for all users of the RNIDS ICT system;
- Fulfillment of requirements for confidentiality, integrity, and availability of data;
- Secure continuation of RNIDS key services even in the event of serious incidents;
- Protection of personal data;
- Stability and availability of the services RNIDS provides to users;
- Compliance of external service providers with RNIDS information security rules and procedures;
- Compliance with applicable laws and regulations of the Republic of Serbia and RNIDS internal procedures.
Management, all employees, and all those who work for RNIDS, in the process of implementing the Information Security Policy, continuously follow established standards and business needs, and will make changes, updates, and improvements as needed, in accordance with the pace at which technologies, legal and other requirements evolve or improve.
Quality Policy
In performing its core activity, RNIDS complies with all applicable legal regulations, principles of international and domestic practice, as well as the requirements of the SRPS ISO 9001:2015 standard.
Maintaining quality and continuously working on its further improvement is a priority for management and all employees. In doing so, RNIDS meets the expectations of existing and potential users of RNIDS services. Therefore, the priorities are:
- Technical and administrative management of the domain registry administered by RNIDS, as well as the establishment of policies and rules for their registration;
- Maintenance of the primary DNS server for national top-level domains;
- Adoption and improvement of rules for resolving disputes arising from the registration of internet domain names;
- Occupational safety and health of all employees;
Other activities in accordance with applicable legal regulations and internal acts.
